You've decided to launch a home base business. You have a great idea and your research shows that the niche you have chosen is wide open. You've developed a web site, but it doesn't look that great. Not very professional looking and doesn't have any features that attract potential customers. Well, there are hundreds of things you can do to enhance and improve your Internet Marketing venue.

I can hear you now. "I don't have the expertise to make all those complex software scripts work. And they're just too expensive. I'm on a near-zero budget!"

BULL! You can do anything you set your mind to. And good software doesn't have to cost a lot. There are tons of software applications out there that have been developed by brilliant minds who aren't looking to make millions of dollars on a single offering. They're in it for the long haul and they truly want to help. They know that providing highly capable software at a reasonable price is the best way they can help you succeed. And, believe it or not, many of us derive a lot of joy and satisfaction out of helping others. I know because I'm one of them.

You can find lots of great scripts that fill a need for between $20 and $50. Each one does a specific job. This is good because it allows you to scale up your efforts on your own schedule. You can spend $50 a month on scripts and, over time, assemble a terrific library of useful tools. You don't have to buy that expensive, all-in-one application. In fact, if you're on a budget, I recommend against it.

This month, get a software app that allows you to rotate your ads on your own site plus add a blog to your site using the free download of Wordpress. Next month, purchase a script that allows you to master RSS and put feeds on your sites that will be picked up and published all over the world. You see, it doesn't have to cost an arm and leg to have the same robust tools that the guru webmasters are using.

After a while, you'll have an Internet Marketing tool kit that rocks. And you hardly noticed the expense. Now, free software is great, but don't bet the farm on it. It's free for a reason. It may perform a single function but you will probably out grow it when you learn what is really possible with a low cost script.

Now let's talk a bit about expertise and making that software work for you. You may not be a software engineer, but you don't have to be. Dig in and work with the software you just bought. Sure, you'll make some mistakes and there will be some frustrating moments, but if you stick with it, you'll master it.

Even if the user manual isn't that great, you'll still get the hang of it in time. Do what you thought you were supposed to do. Check the results and modify if necessary. Heck, even if you have to start over from scratch, you're learning! That's always a good thing. As you master more and more software scripts, it will get easier. Many of the concepts used in developing software are found in most applications. The more you do, the better you get at doing it.

Now go browse the software that is available to you. Read the sales pages. They're loaded with great information and ideas. Many of my best Internet Marketing ideas have come from reading the sales pages of software applications. They're wonderful fodder for thought.

I don't ever want to hear you say "I can't do it." If you THINK you can't, you WON'T. so erase that idea from your head and focus on all the things you CAN do to make your Internet business a raging success - and start looking at software tools NOW.
