There are many ways for you to design your website and many of them do not need a lot of tech. knowledge to use. I myself have terrible computer skills but have already made many websites. There are now editors that are called what you see is what you get editors (Wysiwyg HTML Editors) where it converts the HTML code for you. Then you only really have to worry about the look and design of your website. I would love to say that you do need any understanding of HTML but the truth is that is you do need at least a basic knowledge of HTML, but you do not have to learn every aspect of HTML, just the very basics.

There many free website editors (I like kompozer) some are more user friendly than others. There are also many paid website editors but most have a very steep learning curb in order to use them, but if your willing to put in the time and effort they are a great tool and can bring your web designing to another level. If you are more interested in building a squeeze page or also called an opt in page, I would advise you go look at how a lot of the big name marketers have theirs designed. You can get some very good basic squeeze page designs just by looking how theirs are laid out. Also you can do a web search for squeeze page templates online you you will fine many free and pay for templates to use.
