You should avoid MLM businesses that offer commission-based compensation among distributors. Chances are that it is an illegal pyramid. The act of tempting people or business opportunist to enter an MLM business group has been a usual street transaction among business-minded people. These people will first explain the benefits that you can get from their MLM business. But the reality is that you will actually never get what they said. However, it may not always be the case but still be careful. If you join such groups, the only assurance you got is having a job. But you have no assurance of getting paid evenly or squarely.

• You should avoid MLM business groups that force the new distributors to buy expensive products or the products offered by that MLM group. This might be another sign of scam businesses. Although it always pays to be nice. But some nice people are not nice at all. Again, it is not always the case. Fake MLM businesses always have the amount they could get at the back of their minds. So, take my advice and do not join such groups. However, if by chance you had already joined it than start finding the ways to quit that group.

• Do not notice if the MLM business promoter is promising that you can have more money through continued help in recruiting more distributors. They might just be using you for their personal interest. This is another sign of an illegal MLM business. So, you should always work with compensation.

• Do not join groups where distributors are not giving enough time or attention to their MLM business. There are some people who join MLM groups half-heartedly and do not know that it takes efforts and time to build an enriching career in MLM.

• You should have a definite target or objective behind operating the MLM business. You may be joining it to earn some extra money. Setting your business objectives will help you work harder.

• You should be committed to you MLM business. Distributors must fulfill their respective duties. MLM business cannot grow by just merely looking at it. You should take time to figure out the weaknesses in your MLM business and than try to improve them.
