PPC and Profit Potential
By Scott Lindsay

You might be amazed at how many moneymaking opportunities there are online that revolve around the use of PPC (Pay Per Click) ads. Blogs especially are well noted for their creativity in placing and capitalizing on PPC ads.

For those business owners who may be inclined to use PPC ads as part of their marketing strategy this is good news. Many web users have turned to PPC as a way to make a little money doing something they already love to do.

These motivated bloggers are essentially offering their blogs to use in the marketing of your products and services. They might never talk about you on their blogs, but they accept niche oriented PPC ads to help pay for their site or earn a little residual income.

In a recent bout of research I encountered more than two-dozen fairly high profile moneymaking ideas that blended blogging with PPC. In some cases this meant the blogger had to sign up and blog for someone else or it meant sharing revenue generated from placing code on a blog that allowed PPC ads to be placed there.

In some cases PPC ads pay per click. They might also pay be thousand clicks or by sale or qualified lead.

For both the blogger as well as the business owner there can be many things they will need to learn while working to make Pay Per Click a cost effective means of marketing a website or to maximize earnings potential.

The growth of this type of advertising is a pretty strong indicator that it is an effective advertising tool. The implementation of PPC also tells us that bloggers are finding that it can provided them with enough return that they want to continue using the program.

If you are a blogger and you want to know more about programs that can allow you to make some money by using PPC all you need to do is use your favorite search engine and look for things like 'moneymaking' and 'PPC'.

Businesses are also faced with an abundance of choice. All you need to do is type in PPC or Pay Per Click and you will have plenty to consider as well.

I will always advocate strong SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as a better alternative to PPC, but if you are going to use this type of marketing you really do need to learn as much as you can to improve the chances of success.

You should not view this or any other singular marketing strategy as the holy grail of your marketing endeavors. Feel free to experiment a little and find a variety of strategies that work in tandem to create a tailor-made plan that propels your business to the place you need it to be.

A similar approach can be adopted by bloggers. Test a variety of PPC revenue programs. You may find a company you enjoy working with, but you may also find that you can learn the skills you need to bypass a third party and manage a higher rate of return dealing with primary PPC ad placement services.
