When considering people that will click on links in your blog you need to take in consideration many things. Where is the traffic that comes to your blog is coming from? Have you provided information that a reader can use? Are you trying to sell something on your blog or really giving good information.
It is very important to know where traffic is coming from to your blog. If you are wanting clicks to your site from your blog you need to work on quality rather than quantity. I know people that have gone to places like Craigslist and posted something just to get visitors. When the visitors came they could not believe that they did not get any clicks on their links. A little suggestion might be that if you have a blog about golf for instance, why not join some golf forums and have your blog URL in your signature? Sign up with about three or four forums and post in each one about 3 times per day. In about a month you will have over 300 links pointing to your blog. Better yet, anyone who goes to your blog from those links will already have an interest in what you have to say. Your click ratio will go up.
If you are going to write about golf in your blog be sure you know something about it. You need to be on the same level as the people that are visiting your blog. If you are a new golfer let them know that. You can then tell them your experience and maybe tell them about the site (your site) that has helped you with your golf game. Just make sure that you have information that people want to read. You don't want to put up a blog that shoves something for sale in the face of your visitors.
You are more than welcome to contact me if you have questions about blogs. I have experience and get good traffic from them. I know this article is short. I will write more on good article writing soon with more information. For now happy blogging.
