Everybody says that the money is in the list. If you browse around Internet forums concerned with marketing then everyone tells you that you should build an e-mail list. But why exactly should you do this? In this article we will discuss the benefits of building a list.
If you send web traffic to a sales page there is a very good chance that the visitor will not sign up immediately. There may be a lot of different reasons for this. If you have a large e-mail list built in your niche area then you have a readily available supply of traffic. If you want to promote a new offer or product launch then you do not have to worry about where you are going to get any traffic from. All you need to do is to write an e-mail and send it to your list. If you have built a good relationship with your list and they are responsive, then you will be able to send a lot of traffic wherever you want just by writing an e-mail and clicking on the send button.
